Dr Sophie Reiter
Principal Investigator / Sub-Investigator
Dr Reiter is a GP working at Wansford Surgery and Kings Cliffe Practice and works within the research team at Wansford Research as a Principal Investigator, taking a lead role in our vaccine trials. She is also an educator, acts as an ACP and GP trainee supervisor and holds a Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education.
Dr Reiter joined the team here at Wansford in February 2023, after relocating from Cambridge and has a passion for improving health outcomes and research. Her clinical interest is in women’s health, where she holds formal qualifications in DFSRH, DRCOG and holds Letters of Competence in Intrauterine techniques and Subdermal Contraceptive Implant Techniques.
Dr Reiter was the recipient of the Royal College of General Practitioners and National Institute for Health and Care Research: Research Delivery Network First 5® Award in 2024, demonstrating her commitment to the ongoing development and delivery of Primary Care research.
